This past semester in “Graphic Comms + Letter Forms” I had the oportinity to create an artist’s book. I wrote and illustrated 40 pages of graphics explaining seven pictorial cues which inform how 2D images are read, how paintings are created, and how 3D environments are perceived.

This is a Visual Identiy redesign Proposal for Centquatre Institue in Paris. In my research of Centquatre I have deduced that it is a highly modular space. I wanted to create something that captures the diversity and range of the space. The space captures an out of the box thinking so including boxy constructed visuals was something I was interested in playing with. The building was originally for funeral services, so it’s ironic that now there is a multitude of cultural and artistic pursuits (the opposite of death and embodiment of life, and transforming from death to rebirth of sorts). The space seems to always be becoming something else, so I wanted to stress that through design. This seems like a space truly for everyone to visit, with a plethora of activities and viewings available.

This is an origional Jean Arp inspired modular font I created using Illustrator and Robofont. It included 44 glyphs. I was inspired by the mix of geometric stems with organic/abstract dot like embellishments as displayed in Karl Nawrot “Lÿno” Font. I used the shapes inspired by Jean Arp’s organic sculpture to create the abstract forms. I created promotional postes for the font displaying title and paragraph use with a Jean Arp graphic in the back to compliment the font. if you are interested in using the font, dont hesitate to reach out for the otf. file!

Through the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship Program I had the opportunity to deliver graphics promoting Adobe Express. I Created a back-to-school sticker pack with the Higher Education Team for the Adobe Student Ambassadors that was distributed across US college campuses. I used classic motifs of education while adding the Adobe Express Tag lines "Stay Creative" in unexpected places.

This is a graphic project where I created a complete deck of 54 cards (including two jokers). I used a Wacom tablet to draw each face card in Illustrator and used the Khroma Beta AI color palette generator.

In this project for the Undergraduate Marketing Association at UC Berkeley, I was tasked with creating an imaginative sticker pack for club members. I went for a fun and playful design which mimicked fruit stickers!
